Careers in the Outdoors:

Due to high demand we are still in need of instructors for our 2021 season. Our clients range from residential school groups to development training programmes and everything in between.

 

We are looking to build on our highly regarded team with instructors of all levels, from early-in-career to experienced well-seasoned professionals who will be passionate, engaging and able to deliver our products to a high standard.

➡️ Mountain Training qualifications

➡️ RYA Powerboat instructor

➡️ Full driving licence

➡️ D1

 

Contracts will start towards the end of June and finish the beginning of October - this may be extended depending on business needs.

Careers in Housekeeping:

Head Housekeeper

We are looking to build on our highly regarded team, offering clean & comfortable accommodation to our broad customer base.

As the Head Housekeeper you will be responsible for the management of a busy housekeeping department.

The Head Housekeeper will be responsible for providing leadership support to the Housekeeping and laundry team, as well as performing hands-on housekeeping and laundry duties.  You will need organisational skills as well as exceptional housekeeping standards.

Hours of work: 28 to 32 hours per week (approx)

8am to 4pm: Monday, Fridays & changeover days

9am to 1pm: other days

You will be required to work 1 weekend in every 3 with some evenings.

Requirements & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years Housekeeping Supervisor/Managing a team

  • A passion and ambition to develop and motivate your team

  • Taking ownership of training new team members.  You will provide coaching and develop team members with regular 1:1 meetings and appraisals

  • Attention to detail

  • A hands-on approach needed to support the housekeeping team

  • Remain calm under pressure

  • Friendly & approachable 

  • Great customer service

  • Time management skills

  • Be able to work on own initiative

  • Excellent communication with your team and other departments

  • Proactive maintenance reporting

  • Health & Safety management

  • Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends - depending on business needs

The ideal candidate should be able to work alone as well as work in part of a team, use their own initiative and be proactive in their approach to work.
