Venue

Our residential centre in Appledore, North Devon is both practical and comfortable. The site, buildings and facilities are a superb location for a busy and active programme, and ideally suited to development training.

Activities and team exercises make use of extensive grounds and the outstanding Devon countryside, estuary and coast. As well as excellent equipment for a wide range of activities there's a heated swimming pool on site.

Accommodation is in clean and warm bedrooms which are used as shared rooms for many courses, and singles for some. The Farmhouse and Courtyard buildings retain the original character of the converted farm, whilst the Orchard suite is a modern purpose-built training centre with more en-suite bedrooms.

Food is excellent - a varied and healthy menu is always available and there is a private bar on site.

Hotels are sometimes booked near Skern – either to match your dates when Skern accommodation is full, or simply through your preference.

Costs

We provide a wide range of courses. Some company events are development programmes, others are fun and activity-based teambuilding, and there are many groups of friends who just come for a fun weekend away together. The staff and resources allocated to each of these programmes vary, and so costs vary accordingly.
