Courses are individually planned by a small staff team at the Lodge. From when a first enquiry is made we will listen and learn about your company and the people involved.
Clear aims for the course are agreed and a programme prepared. Exercises bring out issues most relevant to the participants' present and future circumstances at work. showing real flexibility in design and content.
Our knowledge of the organisation is used during the programme itself. A carefully chosen comment or question in review prompts thought on a new perspective. This ensures learning points are relevant and are of benefit to the company and individual.
Personal or team development plans are made at the end of many courses to aid transfer and future learning.
As a course is completed, the partnership between the client and Skern Lodge continues to grow. Training staff are often contracted to carry out further work, either in-company or at the Lodge. Subsequent courses build on this understanding and coursework is fine-tuned to find its place for maximum effect in the wider company development programme.
