Skern Lodge offers outdoor activities, training and events operating from an 18th Century converted farmhouse and courtyard which is situated just outside the picturesque fishing village of Appledore, near Bideford in Devon.

We are less than an hour's drive from junction 27 on the M5. If you are arriving by rail, the nearest station is Barnstaple, which is only 9 miles away, or if you are arriving by coach you will arrive in Bideford which is only 3 miles away.

If you are planning an extended stay, then Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks are within an hour's drive from the centre, so too are many of the countries finsest stretches of beaches with the popular surfing beach of Croyde only 40 minutes away.
