Originally Skern Lodge was a farm dating back to 1705. Over the years the old buildings have been developed and new ones added to form today's centre. |
|
The Lodge is a comfortable and practical centre and our accommodation reflects this. There are three separate accommodation areas, all with central heating, plenty of showers, good drying facilities, lounges, meeting rooms and staff facilities. Many of the rooms have expansive views across Northam Burrows and over the water and all rooms have pine beds with duvets and bedding on ready for you, but you do have to remember to bring your own towels.

CateringThe dining facility seating 110 is at the centre of the site doing justice to our excellent catering. We take great pride in providing (probably!) the best food in our industry – great variety, fresh, local options and served by an outstanding team with care and good humour. Any dietary requirements can be catered for and there are plenty of healthy options. |

Outside we have grounds extending to 22 acres, a launderette, games room, lots of activity areas and plenty of space for the more traditional games such as football. Added to this a heated outdoor swimming pool completes the complex.
Almost all residential guests stay “indoors” but should you wish to, we do have the resources for occasional groups to camp.
