Learn new skills on activities. Build trust and support between group members through activities. |

Step 3 |
Use challenge as a means of increasing confidence in self and others by pushing boundaries. Mid course review highlights achievements so far and re-focuses the remainder of the week. |

Step 4 |
A chance to nurture skills gained or highlighted during the week with a supervised expedition in a challenging environment – taking decisions and responsibility for themselves and others. |

Step 5 |
The Big Step Home Transferring learning gained at Skern Lodge and applied to each individual's environment. Feedback from peers and tutors on individual achievements and development during the week. Look at support and opportunities for the future |
