Facilities

Your group will have classrooms and a wide range of field equipment available, where students will have the opportunity to gain experience in many relevant techniques.

The centre has a dedicated computer suite, where students have access to data handling software and word processing. Statistical analysis is included whenever relevant and the centre has access to a large range of background material.

Safety

As a recognised and respected Outdoor Centre our prime consideration has always been your safety. All our sites have been carefully risk assessed and where necessary the appropriate precautions have been put in place to ensure we exceed our health and safety requirements.

Environmental Concerns

The centre is continuously reviewing its use of energy and aims to be as efficient as possible. We have a comprehensive recycling policy, where plastics, paper, cardboard and metals are recycled.

Our field sites have been selected for their ability to withstand regular use without damage, combined with careful alternation in patterns of use we aim to minimise our impact on the environment.
