Adult Activity Weekends

Designed for groups of five or more, this course is for those people who want to get away from it all and experience a totally different way of spending a weekend.

Whatever the occasion, or, if you just need an excuse to get away - this type of weekend offers a wide variety of outdoor activities for groups of five or more. Each group can determine their own type of programme, from a long list of activities, ensuring that a fun and interesting weekend can be had by all.

Stag and Hen Weekends

An activity weekend is an ideal way to celebrate a forthcoming marriage in a unique and enjoyable manner. Whether it be stag or hen, adventurous or not so adventurous Skern Lodge is undoubtedly the perfect venue.

Like normal adult activity courses, the weekend itinerary is tailor made to suit each individual party. Each group simply agrees collectively from a wide range of activities.

With a bar on site, eight pubs within walking distance and the nightlife of Bideford two miles away a social content to the weekend isn't a problem.  We can take your group into Bideford in our minibus so you can explore the local pubs and clubs, before catching a taxi back to Skern for some well earned rest.

If you have any specific requests to make your weekend go even better, such as T-shirts, a surprise for a group member, or something that is not listed on our activity list, just give us a call and we will do our best to try and arrange this for you.
